curve-linear design with Ancienne Belgique Camel
The final stage in the complete renovation of this five story townhouse in a North Oxford Conservation Area was carried out using the design and architectural services of Rogue Designs of Eynsham.
The designer, Charlotte Holmes, gave careful consideration to both colour and scale required from a sympathetic hard landscaping material.
To continue the subtle flow and harmony from the arched door surround and unique iron railing feature, small element clay paving laid in a curving design completed Charlotte's underlying curve-linear design by using Vande Moortel's Ancienne Belgique Camel clay paver, the 185 x 45 x 90mm format size allowing the radial design to be achievable in smaller areas.
The warmth of the clay paver colour compliments the facing brick on the existing building, both elements continuing to maintain their colour and weather naturally together.
